What Oni Armaments do

Armaments are Oni weapons that widen both your combat options and where you can go — they are tied into traversal, not only damage. See combat explained for how they sit alongside Oni Strength and Oni Agility.

Because several of them change what parts of a stage you can reach, picking one up is worth treating as a prompt to revisit an area you could not fully clear earlier.

Armaments and completion

A completion run tracks two sets at once: these 7 Armaments and the 23 Genma Notes. The Notes are the set that cannot close before the credits, so if you are pacing a platinum run, plan the Armaments as the set to finish first.
